Purchase: My horse is a 7 year old Oldenburg - I show in equitation on the flat and over fences and in open jumper classes. Boots in jumper classes are a must. I paid about $52 for the front and $55 for the hind at a local (Las Vegas) tack shop.

Likes: These boots not only look great - they come in 12 colors from black to lime green. I use the black boots - both front and rear, they're great for schooling and easily fit into the show ring (I ride Hunter/Jumpers). They are quick on and easy off. The first time took just a bit to get it all figure out, but the boot has little notches that fit into the tendon and the cannon and wrap around the fetlock totally protecting the leg. I'm very happy with these boots and highly recommend them.

Dislikes:

Quality: Neoprene with velcro "darts."

Summary: I've used the hard and soft leather jumping boots and the plastic and rubber boots - the Classic Equine Sport Boot is by far my favorite.
