Purchase: I bought this helmet from a local tack shop after my previous helmet, which came from germany, went with me into the swamp when my horse and I ran off the trail during a disagreement. It was similar to my other helmet in that it was very adjustable, lightweight, and did not make me look like an egg head. I pad just over $50 for it and was very excited to get such a good deal.
Likes: Like I said the helmet is very adjustable, light, and stylish. With the adjustable dial in the back I can wear my hair up, down, or in a pony tail. I have had the helmet for almost two years and have worn it at least 4 days a week since then. It does have some scratches on the velveteen but that should be expected with the trees we've encountered
Dislikes: I just wish the chin strap came in tan, it would make for better show pictures.
Quality: no problems two years into it. I do keep the helmet when not in use in the original box as I was told by the tack store the color of the velveteen could change if it was not stored properly.
Summary: I recently purchased the same brand but a different model for my husband to wear after he destroyed his troxel. He likes the fit of his model much better than his previous helmet.
