Purchase: I got these from Greenhawk in Mississauga, Ontario a few years ago.. I paid approximately $22.00 without taxes.
Since we live in the countryside, I wanted some polos that were bright enough to make my horse stand out as hunting season nears, when we're riding close to dark or when the trail is in high use.
The bright orange polos seemed fitting.
Likes: The polos are 5"x9' (which as I mentioned in another polo review) don't fit my horse all that well.
She's hard to get the right size for as she's just above pony height, but really small horse. I had to shorten these polos a bit to make them fit her properly.
I keep the extra bits that I had to cut off in my first aid box.. they'd come in handy for wrapping / cushioning wounds.
Dislikes: The cut of the fleece is off... some areas of the polos are wider then others. It's not off by a great deal, but I notice it when I'm wrapping.
After multiple washes using a gentle soap, the velcro has also discoloured. The polos themselves are still bright orange, but the velcro is now orangey-pink.
Quality: Good quality.. soft fleece, tough velcro. I just wish that the manufacturers cut the fleece properly.
Summary: An okay set of polos, but I'm not sure I'd get them again.
