Purchase: Purchased from a retailer in Greenville South Carolina. I purchased this saddle after a long review of many saddle style and shape. I was trying to determine which would suit my needs the best. It was really a tough decision. I didn't want to make a mistake. I had a friend lend me an australian saddle to try out and I liked it very much. But it fell very short of the quality I loved in your saddle. I need a saddle that would put me more in tune with my horse, give me greater comfort, and be able to withstand the weather. I needed a saddle that was more secure than an english saddle though. I'm a very good rider but not a great rider. But I longed for that feeling of being more closely in tune, a oneness with my horse.
Likes: I liked the fact that I could get yours wet. It fit my horse. It fit me. And when I rode in it, it was a perfect dream of combination. I used it exclusively from then on. I had been a Western rider before that so that was a huge change for me but oh so great. I feel sorry for all those riders out there riding western and toughing it out when they could be riding in comfort.
Dislikes: could use more D rings that's all.
Quality: construction and quality are superb.
Summary: Thank you for making such a great quality product. The price was not an option. The fit, feel, quality were. I have recommended this saddle to all my friends and will continue to do so as long as I have this saddle which I imagine will be a very long time. Thanks for the great product. By the way, I did achieve the oneness with my horse that I had longed for and it was fantastic to know his every move.
