Purchase: I bought these boots for a total of about $70 on in February 2007. I needed some inexpensive jumping boots for my new horse.

Likes: The boots look nice and I love the design of the ankle boots. Rather than being like most ankle boots which feature one protection area facing to the inside, they were exactly like the front boots but shorter. This kept them centered and did not allow them to rotate as traditional ankle boots can do. Plus the overlapping Velcro closures ensured they stayed on. The front boots are styled like the popular Eskadron Boots, with two front straps secured by a vertical Velcro strap. The neoprene lining is thin and seems to be of good quality. They are super easy to clean and maintain.

Dislikes: Both the front and ankle boots are awkward and stiff and don't really conform to my horse's legs. The straps are way too tight (I bought the regular horse size because my horse has short cannon bones, but they are not thick) and I have to really stretch them to fit. I'm hoping that over time the boots will break in and be more formed to my horse's legs.

Quality: These boots are well put together and feature tight stitching and nice neoprene lining. The outer shell is tough and strong, and they have stood up well to jumping and turnouts so far.

Summary: If these boots fit well I would give them two thumbs up, but their awkward fit really turns me off. I would have rather paid more for Eskadrons of Veredus boots, but you get what you pay for!! Other than fit, these boots are nice and look good, so it a matter of personal preference I suppose.
