Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: I bought this on EBay, paid $850 new. I think the retail os over $1000.
Likes: This was advertised as a reining saddle but I use it mostly for trail and ranch work. I like that the seat is not too deep, nice and flat. I like the feel of the way reining saddles fit me better than regular trail saddles. The tree is cut for more of a close contact. It appealed mostly to me because there wasn't flashy at all. the tooling is a nice sante fe type pattern.
Dislikes: Unfortunately, my quarter horse is built on the narrow side, so I need to use 2 pads for it to fit him nicely.
Quality: It has a smooth black seat, the fenders are hung from the middle of the tree for additional freedom as well.
Summary: This is a nice all around saddle for me, I can use it working on the farm, trail riding or the occasional reining that I do. It was a bit pricey for me, but I'd still recommend it.
Usefulness Rating: 2.55556 out of 5.
