Purchase: I bought my first pair of these pants at a stateline tack in NH, I've forgotten the exact location, but all the stateline tack stores carry them, and you can order them online or through their catalog. I wanted a pair of breathable affordable riding pants that didn't come up to my belly button. They cost $50.
Likes: These are the best riding pants I have ever owned. I would HIGHLY reccomend them to everyone and anyone who rides. They are soft, incredably comfortable, and allow for perfect freedom of movement. I was comfortable endurance riding in them on scorchingly hot days this summer. They never rode up or chafed in any way. In addition, though less importantly they come in an attractive spectrum of colors and they fit exceedingly well.
Dislikes: The only complaint I have is that with repeated washing they do 'bead' very slightly, though it is hardly noticeable, and just gives them a softer look and feel.
Quality: The pants are made of a combination of Viscose and Lycra. I have worn them almost every day while riding for 4 months now and washed them repeatedly and they have held together perfectly with the exception of the slight beading (which does not worsten) before mentioned.
Summary: These pants have spoiled me. Now almost all other riding pants feel constricting. I have already ordered another pair, and if I had more money would buy one more. Now if only Devonaire would make a Hipster winter riding tight....
