Purchase: I bought this at Equine Affair 2006 for $112.00 and the breastplate with standing attachment $130.00. I was looking for something to be my huntseat show bridle that would fit a qh head.
Likes: I original liked the price. Thats about it since I brought it home and inspected it. I also liked that it would fit a qh and the color matched my passier.
Dislikes: It is made in India. The leather was dry. The finish is wearing of just from cleaning it and oiling it. I had to dip oil to make it flexible enough to use. I wonder if it would be strong enough to hold up to the use of a show ring and for jumping.
Quality: Poor, the finish rubbed of when cleaning it and then really came of when I oiled it.
I also wonder how strong the metal piece are and if it will hold up to show use.
Summary: Would not buy this bridle again or recommend it. I think next time I will fork over the extra hundred and get something of better quality.
