Purchase: I acquired this bridle at a Kenny Harlow clinic held at Rosewood Glen in Hancock NH. I was loaned one to participate in the clinic and fell in love with the super grippable rope reins.
Likes: The Kenny Harlow bridle is very attractive, made of durable supple leather, and includes a full cheek snaffle bit. The winning factor for me was the rope reins, which as aformentioned, make for an exellent grip. They are great for doing bit work on the ground.
Dislikes: Despite it's hansome appearence from a distance, it is printed with the 'Kenny Harlow' branname on the browband which I think is a little gaudy. The reins are nearly an inch in circumference which makes them a little awkward to neck rein with.
Quality: Kenny's bridles are made in Austrailia and are build to hold up to a beating or two. The rope reins are a thick braided cotton with leather 'slobber straps'.
Summary: I would reccommend this bridle to anyone doing ground bitwork or hacking around with a direct rein. If you want to neck rein, you might want to look elsewhere.
