Purchase: I always keep a stock of this on hand as it's great for a variety of purposes.
I buy Ubaflex Wrap from whatever tack store I'm close to at the time. A roll that measures approximately 4" x 15' generally sells for $2.00 Cdn plus taxes.
Likes: The bandaging is sturdy and very comparable to its competitor, 3M Vetwrap.
Nothing really sticks to it so if you're wrapping a leg, for example, you don't have to worry about leaves or twigs sticking to it.
It's got a lot of uses.. both for horses and other pets. A very versatile product.
Dislikes: I've heard that with cheaper versions of Vetwrap, they can melt in the sun - or at least get sticky.
I have never experienced this problem, even when used throughout a variety of conditions, so I'll mark that down as a rumor.
Quality: Good quality wrap at a decent price. It comes in a variety of colours.
I buy a lot of Ubaflex wrap, so they're obviously doing something good!
Some companies offer this type of wrap in cases of 12 or 24.
To save on packaging, I'd really like to see a large roll of wrap instead... one that's triple the size of a regular roll would be perfect. If you're using a regular sized roll to bandage part of a leg, especially on a horse, you go through it really quick.
Summary: A great product... one that I'll continue to buy.
