Purchase: I have really large calves (17") but not huge feet and wanted to find a dress boot that was comfortable and actually fit my proportions and available in an XW. I called around looking for these boots and www.equusunlimited.com was the only place that even called me back! They helped me get the boots 2nd day air, because I had a show deadline, and they worked hard to get the boots ordered quickly. Absolutely the BEST customer service I've had with any online company, EVER. With 2nd day rush shipping, the boots were $354.00. I don't know what the base price of the boots is.
Likes: These boots fit! They came out of the box already feeling broken in, and they look great. The leather is high quality--not as super shiny as some boots, but a more pliable, softer leather. And really, given the fit I'm not complaining. They are suitable for showing and the Spanish tops make your legs look longer. I also love the rear zipper--easy on and off, so say goodbye to your bootjack! The footbed is roomy
Dislikes: So far, nothing I don't like about these boots!
Quality: They seem to be very high quality, and I really like Mountain Horse's products. I own their jod boots and find those to be very good quality as well.
Summary: Excellent boots! Great fit, comfortable, and will probably last a long time. Couldn't be happier with the company I ordered them from, either. Super nice customer service.
