Purchase: I tried this saddle, used, from Trumbull Mtn. Tack, for $695. I have a very nice dressage saddle and wanted something for hacking. I got a 36cm saddle for my Friesian and it fit him like it was a custom saddle. Very optimistic, I went for a 1 hour ride in it. I was very disappointed that it didn't fit me well at all. The tree was too narrow and the seat was curved, not flat and after the hour the saddle felt like a well-padded sawhorse.

Dislikes: For hacking, which is why I wanted it, its seat could have been flatter would would have made the twist tolerable. I wouldn't want to spend much time in this saddle.
Quality: The quality of the leather was lovely. And the fact that it was actually wide enough to fit my very wide horse was wonderful.
Summary: It was very well made and maybe it would be better for another person's conformation, but it really wasn't good for mine. For the price I would rate the quality of this saddle a 4 and low priced for how nicely it was made and the quality of the leather. For comfort, I would rate it a 1.
