Purchase: I needed a saddle that would fit my 35cm Haflinger. I paid around $1350 on ebay, but retails for around $1500. I recently checked the price and the retail value went up, $1700.
Likes: I fell so secure in this saddle. With wide horses in 99% of the saddle you try on the they slide around like they are sitting on a barrel...this saddle didn't move. The knee and thigh blacks are just big enough to give support but not forced into a position. With young horses that over jump fences this saddle helps you stay securely in the saddle! This saddle allows me to communicate to my horse but I can also trail ride in it all day without getting sore. Even though this saddle was a 35cm saddle it fit a lot of horses. Dislikes: The billets are a little wide but since I have the wonderful girth that you can buy that matches the saddle. It is shaped and and soft making it a very comfortable girth for horses.
Quality: The leather is great. It has slightly thicker leather on the flaps that make the saddle less likely to wear. It stays a very rich color and does not wear off.
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to ANYONE!! I absolutely love this saddle!!
