Purchase: I own a hard to fit MFT gelding who is not the easiest to fit. After researching and reading reviews I decided to go with the Crestridge Saddlery family. I had one model in mind but was willing to trust Debra of Crestridge in selecting the best fit and style for my horse. With their return policy I saw this as a more than fair way of getting the right saddle for my horse.
Likes: As I am on a limited budget I decided to get the synthetic and leather saddle. Debra's advice and instructions were fantastic. Joker not only ended up with a beautiful saddle that fits him beautifully, looks great and is very comfortable to ride on but Debra took the time to call me and confirm that all was as I wished. I paid just a bit more than $700 because I ordered the breast plate and Supra core seat.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about the saddle.
Quality: I ordered dark brown with black skirt and Supra core seat. The construction is better than the $1400 saddle I once owned. The stitching is even and secure and not a nail in it. There are plenty of rings and strings long enough to really tie you stuff. The lining is thick and secure. The fit is as if they knew every lump and bump of my horse and strives to make him as comfortable as possible. He is able to move out in his gaits and has even stopped trying to pace.
Summary: I highly recommend Crestridge Saddlery. They truly are interested in making every customer and horse happy with their purchase and do not try to talk you into purchasing anything you do not need or a model you can not really afford. They stand behind their product and will be there for the customer down the road.
