Manufacturer: Blue Ridge
Category: Roping Saddles
Purchase: I got this from a "discount" saddlery company for a little over $550.
Likes: It held up well for the first 2 years. It broke in fast, has a fiberglass tree which is good for roping. The leather was nice and thick at first, and it looked like it was going to be a nice saddle for me.
Dislikes: After about 2 years the saddle took a turn for the worst. The tooling began to wear out and look smooth, the suede seat smoothed out as well. It no longer had any grip to it. The fenders and skirts began to curl as well.
Quality: I'd say that the quality was average, okay for a beginner or someone not going to ride every day.
Summary: I know now not to buy "discount" saddlery anymore. It's better to invest in a nice quality saddle than having to replace it every few years.
Usefulness Rating: 4.78261 out of 5.
