Purchase: Acquired this saddle in 1993, I paid $550 for it.
Likes: Heavy leather has held up well to hard heavy use on mules. This particular saddle has a wider tree in it that is great for a mutton whithered horse or mule. I have had no quality issues with it for all these years. No doubt, for the money, a really good buy especially when you know is is going to see hard use with Mules, panyards, etc.
Dislikes: Leather curled a little, but not much of an issue considering use and abuse in AZ heat.
Quality: Saddle seems to be constructed very well. This is my go to saddle.
Summary: I consider this saddle an entry level saddle, no frills. Great quality, good stitching, heavy leather. It has stood up to everything but being run over with the truck!
