Manufacturer: Dixieland Gaited Saddles
Model: Trail Saddle
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I have bought 2 trail saddles since July 2006 from Dixieland Gaited Saddles of Lexington, AL. I paid $725 for a dark mahogany endurance saddle, plus some accessories, total $909. Recently, I bought another saddle w/round skirt, their light oil color and paid $795, plus some accessories, total $949.
Likes: The workmanship, dyeing, tooling on these saddles is magnificent. The quality of leather is wonderful. I think these saddles rival those that you would pay $1,500 to $2,000 for from other companies. I would highly recommend this company for your saddle needs.
Dislikes: I can't say that there is anything I don't like about these saddles.
Quality: Good quality leather, tree is manufactured by Steele. Craftsmanship is superb.
Summary: I think I've said enough. I'm extremely please with these saddles.
