Purchase: I bought this saddle from a tack store for around $600.
Likes: The tooling on this saddle is great. This saddle is fully tooled. I originally ordered the natural leather but got the pecan colored leather. Good looking saddle! This saddle is very light but does not move around on a horse. The seat is very comfortable and is not hard or overly cushioned. This saddle sits well on the withers and makes a good trail or pleasure saddle.
Dislikes: The horn on this saddle looks cheap. I dyed the edges around the horn and added a horn cap to make the appearance more pleasing. I also did not like the fact that the stirrup straps are nylon. I will eventually have to replace them with leather straps as the nylon wears faster.
Quality: The saddle is built well with exception to the horn and stirrup straps. Great stitching and tooling.
Summary: Overall I really am enjoying this saddle. I use it mostly for trail riding but have used it in some play day horse shows. I believe it would make a great first saddle or just an awesome all around saddle.
