Purchase: Well i have to tell you about the wonderful women I met in Whittier Ca, Mary Street, she owns Mary's Saddles. They work from her shop at her home and make the most gorgeous saddles I've ever seen. This particular visit was special though: I contacted Mary because I am the chairperson for a funfilled event in Norco, Ca. known as the Norco Horsemens Association Kids Playday. In October this event for kids under 18 on horseback is held at Ingalls Park and include educational value, both equestrian wise and town history. We have riding events, trivia contests, coloring contests, even boobing for both the kids and the horses, any way I needed a raffle prize. So to shorten this long story, Standard Pacific Developers donated $1000 w/ $500 to be spent on a raffle prize. You know how hard it is to find a good saddle for $500.
Mary stepped up and said I'll make you one.
It could not be prettier, the tooling, the light leather, the silver pieces, the OVER $1200 it would have normally cost. I can't wait for my daughter to slow down growing a little so i can go buy her first REAL saddle! What a wonderful saddle maker and person!
Likes: It is absolutely gorgeous, light leather, soft seat, flowered tooling, silver excessories, just so much more than I hoped for!
Dislikes: Duh! Nothing!
Quality: Awsome better than my own circleY!
Summary: You'de be a fool if your in the market for a saddle not to look this lady up!
