Purchase: I bought this saddle from usedsaddles.com used for $695. I wanted a quality saddle to show in that would be comfy for my horse.
Likes: I love this saddle. It is sooo comfortable and I think it is the BEST saddle money can buy. It is made for the horse because the CAIR panels make the saddle conform to the horses back and distribute the pressure evenly so it doesn't pinch. For $27 you can get the tree measurement system, which tells you exactly which size your horse needs, from extra narrow to extra wide, then you can get that size to put in your saddle. It makes the saddle fit perfectly. It is also made for the rider in that the knee cushion is filled with air and it soooo comfy. There is also velcro underneath to have removable knee blocks so you can decide what position works for you.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about it is that it scratches very easily and the matching tack is quite expensive. Leathers are almost $100, and you have to get the bates brand if you want it to match perfectly.
Quality: I would give the quality out of 1 - 10 a 22, this saddle was well thought out and is great for both horse and rider. It looks like an expensive saddle and I will never get a different saddle. It is only about $1200 used, which is good, because other saddles, pessoa, hermes, butet are around that price and nowhere near the comfort of the horse in mind.
