Purchase: I got this halter for my hubbys horse years ago, just after he bought her.
Hamilton Products are known for their strength and durability, which is why I chose this one.
I can't remember the exact price, but it must've been around $25.00 Cdn from Picov's in Ajax, Ontario.
Likes: I like that the nylon on this halter is double-thick, adding to its strength. It's also stitched and box stitched in key areas. Despite years of hard use, none of the threads have broken or worn.
Hubby is also happy with it, so that's great.
Dislikes: This is common with any halter, but after being used for so long, it's starting to get quite stiff (when I take it off the horse, it holds its shape!).
Quality: Double ply nylon web (though depending on the model, some are single ply) with high quality hardware that doesn't rust.
Plenty of room for adjustment through the nose and throat bands.
Summary: Seems like it's about time for my boyfriends horse to get a new halter again, and he'll definitely be looking at the Hamilton display!
