Purchase: I bought this saddle 8 years ago from the Mane Attraction, who no longer sells the brand. I was able to try it out in their show room and try a loaner on my horse. I paid just over $2,000 at that time.
Likes: It has fit many horses over 8 years. It is well made. It is sturdy yet light (18lb). It is extremely comfortable to ride in. Very secure for the rider with deep seat and thigh rolls front and back.
Dislikes: It is awkward to carry. The leather trim that was black, including the seat, has turned brown, so it looks a bit more used than it should. The original billets were recalled and they replaced them.
Quality: Excellent, only surface wear after all these years. Faulty billets were fixed.
Summary: When I bought such an expensive saddle I was thinking this was going to be my best purchase, or my worst. Happy to report it is my best. Well worth the money to get a saddle that fits a variety of horses well and is so comfortable and secure on the trail.
