Purchase: I bought this really cheap at the local feed store one day, just because I had ran out of Show Sheen detangler and that was all they had left. It was maybe around 5 dollars for a medium sized spray bottle.
Likes: My regular spray-on detangling/conditioning stuff I used was always Show Sheen. When I got the Mane and
Tail Detangler, I was MUCH more pleased with the results. It literally makes your horse's hair sparkle! I love how it leaves your horse's mane and tail looking shiny, clean and flowing, and when you touch it, it feels soft and kind of slippery in your hand, but it is totally non-greasy. Also, I liked how it gave shine to my horse's hair without leaving sticky residue that some shine products do. I absolutely love the effect is has on my horse!
Dislikes: There is really nothing I don't like about this product. The only thing would be, it's not good for braiding because at first, it makes your horse's mane and tail slippery to the touch. This didn't affect me at all, and it's not really a dislike, it's just something I wouldn't recommend using it for. Other than that small detail, I can't say one bad thing about it!
Quality: It comes in a durable bottle, and it lasts a long time before you have to buy a new one. The product works throughout the whole day, keeping the mane and tail flowing and smooth. Usually, after I run out of the detangler, I use the bottle for other things like fly spray because it's a really good bottle!
Summary: I would recommend Mane and Tail Detangler to any and every rider, it works like magic every time! It always provides me a beautiful show look or just a nice everyday healthy glow for my horse's mane and tail. It's definitely a must-have in your grooming box, I love it!
