Purchase: I saw this magazine at the Southern Horse Fest last year, and really liked all the interesting articles and photos. I bought a single copy for $2.00 and ordered a subscription and joined the Blaze Kid's Club for $14.95. I got a T-shirt, bookmark, poster, e-Blaze passcode for the website, and now I get the magazine in the mail 4 times a year.
Likes: The photos and games are my favorite part of the magazine. I have learned more about safety and care of horses and ponies from this magazine than the other magazines for young riders. The contests are really fun, and they even printed a letter I wrote to them. The very best part of the magazine is that the articles are written so me and my friends can understand them. I look forward to getting every issue to see what's new and fun.
Dislikes: There isn't anything I don't like about Blaze!
Quality: The covers are fun and you want to open them right away to see what more is inside. I have punched holes in them to keep them in a binder so I can keep looking back at all the issues and pictures.
Summary: This is the BEST for kids who love and own horses. It has helped me alot in learning more about the breeds, horse products for kids my age, and websites to visit for more information and things I need for me and my horse.
