Purchase: I purchased this saddle from an auction. Prior to buying it, I did my homework as I had never heard about Eli or Henry Miller Saddles. As we are also carriage drivers, we build and buy our Combined Driving carriages and harness from the Amish, so hearing that these saddles were built by the Amish was a good start.
Likes: The workmanship and leather on their saddles is unsurpassed. The tooling is impeccable, as are all attachment sites, leather edges, hardware is perfectly placed, the bridles are strong and serviceable with buckles instead of chicago screws (of which I have had a near miss with one on the trail with it coming undone. I'll never use one again). The colors of all the optional equipment match perfectly (in fact I had to replace ONE stirrup after a fall and it even matched after using the other one six months!). Above all, the suspended seat is beyond description. Unlike a 'flex tree' or 'flex panel', the tree supports your weight as a rider. However, you do not sit ON the tree, you sit on leather that is suspended within the workings of the saddle! No amount of neoprene or fleece is going give you a ride like the Miller saddle...top notch leather as well.
Dislikes: there is absolutely nothing I dislike about this saddle, and will never sell it! I only want to order another and tell everyone to sit in mine to see for themselves.

Summary: I would look no further. I've owned many many very expensive saddles both English, Dressage, and Western. None of them compare to the workmanship and comfort of the Miller Saddles.
