Purchase: I Paid $526 for this saddle from state line tack in a 17" wide.
Likes: i bought it to train one of my green horses. i bought it because i was just going to throw it around and use it to train in. i am almost considering selling my $3,000 Crosby to buy another one in a regular tree. so far i am very happy with this saddle. it fits my horse nicely and the saddle is made well for people that are experienced and have some what long legs. THIS IS NOT MADE FOR PEOPLE WITH SHORTER LEGS due to where the knee rolls are. although i don't have that problem. :)
Dislikes: i didn't like how hard it was to put one of the stirrup leathers in when the other side just slipped right in. The one side that i struggled with scratched away some of the leather on my NEW stirrup leathers.
Quality: The knee rolls are soft and the seat feels good. The saddle seems to be made very well. So far no problems with the saddle its self.
Summary: the other remarks about this saddle being junk is because they weren't fitted at all or not by someone knowledgeable. THIS IS A GREAT SADDLE. Especially for almost half of what it was originally.
