Purchase: Purchased directly from Barefoot (through a friend in Germany). Paid $650 with pad, shipping etc.

Likes: I have a barrel shaped Haflinger mare who would be a near IMPOSSIBLE treed saddle fit. I have had the original Barefoot Cheyenne and now have the newer model with a higher cantle (which seems larger).I am a size 6 and I ride in the size 2. I could probably ride in a size 1 but have no complaints with the size 2. I LOVE the close feeling and the fact that there is nothing rigid between my horse and I. With most treeless saddles it is imperative that you have a good pad. I have the Grandeur pad with sympanova/wool lining on the bottom. I would also recommend the HAF pad. I believe Lori's tack sells both.

Dislikes: When my Haffie is misbehaving the saddle will move more than I like but has never rolled. The color tends to fade quickly.

Quality: The quality of the leather and stitching is excellent.

Summary: I can't imagine riding in a saddle with a tree again!
