Purchase: I bought a saddle which had been used for trial at a tack shop - virtually new. I paid $3,400 for it, and, fortunately, it fit both my horse and me perfectly. I love the quality of the leather, and the "grippiness" of the seat. I am very happy with it, although the short billets can sometimes be a bit of a pain. It's the first time I ever spent so much money on a saddle, but I've never had one that fit me so well, either (and I am a hard fit!). I would recommend the saddle highly.

Dislikes: The billets could be longer. They are a bit annoying.
Quality: The construction is excellent and the quality of the leather superb. A master saddler friend of mine commented on its high quality (and that's very high praise, indeed!).
Summary: Pricey, but worth it. As these are semi-custom, for very little more than I paid, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a lifetime investment.
