Likes: It is much better quality than most treeless saddles - in some ways better than many treed saddles
It has a super grippy suede seat, movable/removable knee blocks, pommel, cantle etc
It has a special numnah designed to fit it- this has prolite panels in it
It feels like riding bareback!
Fits both my 17hh IDxTB and my 14.3 Haflinger perfectly and they both go very happily in it.
Not as expensive as Heather Moffatt (although more than Torsion etc)
made in UK! by nice people!
Dislikes: Nothing - it is excellent - haven't found any downside to it.
You do need to make sure girth is well tightened before mounting to ensure no slipping
Quality: Very high quality construction - really tought and great quality leather and suede - very impressed indeed.
Also features to avoid discomfort for horse eg some treeless saddles have stirrup leathers sewn through top of saddle so harder to mend and also risks strain on horses back if you don't ride lightly and correctly - Treefree doesn't do that, they are attached at each side so avoids that problem
Summary: Really excellent treeless saddle - if you can find one and it suits your horse you wont look back.
