Purchase: I purchased this cinch from the local tack store, Ace Tack & Outfitters. I went there myself and bought it because the neoprene cinch I was using made my horse sweat A LOT!! I also bought it because I read in a book (Ride Smart) that it is better to have all-natural material next to the horse's skin (like wool and leather), and to have a roping cinch because it spreads the pressure over a wider area. It was around $45.
Likes: I love this cinch so much better than my neoprene one, because on long rides (or hot days), it lets my horse's skin breathe. It is also much easier to cinch up because of the smart cinch system.
Dislikes: The only thing is it likes to collect hair from the horse, and I don't think I could get it off unless I washed it.
Quality: Pretty good quality, and I think it's made in USA!!
Summary: A great cinch for a pretty fair price.
