Purchase: I bought this blanket online for $179.00 this last winter. I wanted a blanket that would hold up to my horse being out to pasture.
Likes: The last turnout blanket my horse had got tears in it all the time. He has worn this blanket all winter long without a single tear. It is wonderful not to have to repair any more. The weight is perfect for Oregon weather. It is waterproof, which doesn't need to be redone after washing it. The blanket fits my horse very well, I like the shoulder gussets as they prevent rubbing on the shoulders which I have always had problems with in the past. I also like the higher shoulder coverage that this blanket gives. For some reason I have never liked a horse blanket that doesn't cover the whole shoulder area.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't really like is the price. However, the blanket is holding up very well and I won't have to replace it which makes the money very well spent.
Quality: The Baker Blanket is constructed to last and it does. I wish that I had bought this blanket to start with, I wouldn't have had to replace my old ones.
Summary: I am a Baker fan. I want to have one of every style they offer. This is a wonderful blanket.
