Purchase: I needed a new show coat because my old one did not fit me anymore. I first went to look at the coats at the local tack shop, but the coats did not sell for any lower than 300 dollars. So I then went and looked on Ebay for a reasonably price coat. After a while, I found a Grand Prix coat for around 180 dollars and bought it. From what I heard, they normally sell for more than that.
Likes: I cannot be any happier with my new coat! It is simply gorgeous and comes in a beautiful shade of taupe/grey with windowpane. It is simply amazing and fits very well. I normally wear a 10R, but when I tried on some Grand Prix coats at the tack shop, I noticed that the 12R fit better. I think that the Grand Prix coat sizes are a bit off (compared to the standard size charts) so I would go and try one on before buying online. The lining is of supreme quality (hence the name) and is really quite comfortable. This coat breathes very much, so it is quite nice showing in it!
Dislikes: There is nothing not to like! The quality and appearance could not be any better.
Quality: Since this coat is made of 100% wool, it is really comfortable. The stitching is amazing and subtle, no flaws there! The button holes are not too big, not too small, just perfect. It is well vented and will surely keep you cool and comfortable while wearing it. The quality is as nice as its appearance (which is very nice). This show coat lives up to the legacy of Grand Prix!
Summary: If I could find another of these coats around the same price, I would surely get it! I recommend this coat to anybody who wants to do some showing, look good, and be comfortable while doing so!
