Purchase: I bought my saddle online from Dixieland Gaited Saddles (www.dixielandgaitedsaddles.com). They require a $200 deposit up front, and then the balance is paid when your saddle is complete. The total cost for my custom hand-made saddle was $925.
Likes: I love the look and ride of this saddle. It has a flexible gaited tree to conform perfectly to both my horses bodies. It can be used on a variety of different horses with different body types. It was custom ordered, so I got exactly the look and style of saddle I wanted in a very short time for a very reasonable price for a flex tree saddle.
Dislikes: There isn't anything I dislike about my saddle, because I custom ordered it.
Quality: Very high quality construction, amish hand-made saddle. Stitching and dye is very well done, and the details are impressive.
Summary: I love this saddle. I've ridden in several types of flex-tree saddle and this is by far the least expensive and the best quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
