Purchase: I purchased this saddle online from a site similar to ebay. I paid $200, but other auctions for similar saddles of the same make were priced anywhere between $200-$600.
Likes: I heard from other people who had ridden in this saddle that they found the seat hard. I don't find my hard at all, maybe its a newer version. I found it put me in a good position for the level i was at. A good beginner or first dressage saddle.
Dislikes: My horse is a thoroughbred and always needs a narrow gullet, but this has to be about the most narrow gullet i have ever seen. This saddle would be good for horses with higher whithers or are just really narrow. It needs more knee roll! It also doesn't distribute weight on the back over a large surface area, so weight is concentrated on one spot.
Quality: It's not a flashy top of the range saddle. The leather seems to be good quality.
Summary: A few tweaks here and there and i think this would be a really nice saddle.
Usefulness Rating: 2.7 out of 5.
