Purchase: I bought this halter for about 15 USD on state line tack. I bought it because my trainer said I needed a leather halter for trailering.
Likes: I like that this halter is affordable, but still has great quality. I like the stitching and I love how gorgeous it makes my horse look.
Dislikes: I pretty much like everything. The leather is a little stiff, but that's just because it's a good price. When I oiled it up it softened very nicely.
Quality: The quality and construction of this unit is overall excellent. I love how inexpensive it is, for what you get. It's a great leather halter. You have to take really good care of it (clean it every time you go to the barn and oil it up some), or else it will break. Once the leather is soft, you don't have to worry about cleaning it everyday (but maybe twice a week to get the mud off).
Summary: I would recommend this halter to anyone who wants an affordable, quality halter that is great for hauling, turnout and all around stuff. I would definitely recommend this halter to anyone.
