Purchase: I was able to find this bridle new on ebay so I was able to save about $70 off retail. Retail is around $179.00 The seller needed a larger size for her warmblood. The Foxhuntingshop.com carries Bobby's hunt bridles and matching breastplates and also the raised model. I have been wanting this model for quite some time and was thrilled to find it one on ebay !
Likes: It is a beautiful bridle. The workmanship is top quality, the leather is beautiful and well oiled, including the reins. The stitching is even and tight This is a true Hunt bridle for a working hunter in the field so its a very strong well made bridle. I am sure it will last a lifetime.
Dislikes: Not a thing.
Quality: It is extremely well made and top quality
Summary: As with everything, you get what you pay for. I see soo much junk and cheap tack on ebay its disgusting. $14 bridles and $150 saddles. And then people come here and complain. Well of course that stuff will fall apart ! Its cheap garbage.
If you want good quality tack then you need to spend the money and go with a top of the line quality product.
I think Bobbys Tack, especially the hunt bridle rates at the very top. In fact I will be ordering the matching breastplate soon
