Purchase: It was second hand and I paid $1,100 for it. I got it as my best firend's son was ending his riding and I was just beginning again.
Likes: I had no idea a saddle could feel this way. No matter how long I ride, I never had the sore 'spots' that go with many of the other 'high quality' name saddles. The County is in my opion one of the best saddles on the market. Excellent leather, puts you in the proper position, beautiful to look at, fits my horse very well, and anything else is too much like work.
The part I also like is that it seems to be a universal fit for my two horses. They are different builds but this saddle fits them both nicely. I even had it fitted on them by a professional saddle fitter and she was very impressed with the building of the saddle. I am going to buy one for my son who is just starting out with his Dressage as I want him to be in the correct position from the first lesson. This saddle does that. And it is so comfortable !
Dislikes: I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about this saddle. It fits, it's pretty, it's comfortable, and it is reasonably priced when comparing to other brand that I have found to be not nearly as pleasant to ride in for long periods.
So, I would say ride with County with pride. I do !!
