Purchase: I had read about this saddle is searching for a saddle to fit my mare. She is the "princess and the pea" type that must have a comfortable back. I am also an equine bodyworker and know the importance of correct fit. I demoed the saddle with Heiki and Oliver of Continental Saddles at the NRBC and left with one!
Likes: The FEEL! This is definitely a "you ride, you will love" saddle. I could feel the muscles in my horse, the close contact with my legs was amazing and most of all, my mare performed like she never has before. She was extremely happy, lighter on the bit and also did not get tired.
It is quiet for a new saddle with little squeaking. It is beautiful with the conchos and a high quality leather.
The flare at the shoulder finally gave my mare the correct fit with a full QH bar, no other saddle has done this.
The first ride with it and I got a flying lead change so I knew her shoulders were finally free of restriction with a saddle. It feels like a Western dressage saddle!
The preturned fenders take all stress off your ankles.
Dislikes: I am short so even with the stirrup up high, I will have to get the fender shaved a bit to go up one hole. A minor problem for the good it has given me!

Summary: The Equi-flex tree is definitely the way to go. I expected to like it but not to be blown away by it. It was awesome for the horse and rider!
