Purchase: I bought this product from State Line Tack for around $8. I was looking for a good coat conditioner/shiner for shows.
Likes: This product delivers a good overall shine. It lives up to its name in that it gives a very nice, show-quality sheen. It is very easy to apply; just spray a light mist onto the coat and brush in with a soft brush!
Dislikes: I hate the smell. It smells strange; I can't really describe it...it just smells unpleasant to me. Other sprays (Laser Sheen, Cowboy Magic) have pleasant fragrances but this is where Show Sheen is lacking. They should definitely make it smell better because the smell is the main reason I do not buy it anymore.
Quality: Show Sheen comes in a sturdy white plastic spray bottle. The spray bottle holds up well and I have never had any issues with them. Generally Absorbine products are very high quality and that is why I purchased this product in the first place. The shine it delivers is very high quality.
Summary: Show sheen works well, but smells unpleasant. I use it sometimes in combination with another conditioner at shows to get the sheen and also a nice fragrance (not that the fragrance really matters, it is just nice) But if the smell doesn't bother you, this is the product for you!
