Purchase: I purchased the AniFlex GL and the MSM through Country Supply. I have a 30 yr old mare that is my big baby. She is getting stiff and not moving so well. Was looking for something that would help her but not cost a fortune. Came across this in Country Supply and the price was decent too, for 2.5lbs which is an 80 day supply; it was $20.49 plus FOB,so I gave it a try. I also have a 18yr old mare that was diagnosed with navicular. I found the MSM powder same company as the AniFlex GL, thru Country supply too. It is $10.49 for 2.5lbs. It is a natural Anti-inflammatory, plus more. Again thought it was a decent price, I'll give it a try,
Likes: I noticed a difference in with in 2 weeks or less, I was wasn't counting the days. I started riding her again, I even took her on a camping trip and she was the lead horse on the 6 hr trail ride. I did forget one time to reorder before she ran out, and it took me 2 weeks before I got some more. I could see her going down hill, more stiff not moving to good. I haven't ran out of the stuff since then. As for my other mare with Navicular. She was used for Gaming in her early years and my daughter wanted to use her for 4-H. With shoes put on a certain way it helped, but we always had problems with the arena dirt packing in the hoof. I have had her on it since Jan. We cant have shoes on the horses thru the winter because of snow. My daughter had a show in March started riding her more with out the shoes and she wasn't limping. We couldn't get the shoer out before the show so my husband trimmed back her toes and we went to the show. Not once did she limp nor was she even sore afterwards. That is another product that I wont run out of. It also is great for our old arthritic dog. Amazing stuff at a great price!!
Dislikes: I cant say that there is anything that I don't like about it right now.
Quality: They are both powder form. They come with the scoops you need to measure out with.
Summary: It is great that there are products out there that helps out aging animals, and companies don't charge a fortune for something that does a great job. There are too many things that are over priced, it is nice to see that there are still companies that still care about making something to help animals and not over charge for it.
