Purchase: I bought these chaps off of eBay for $30. Size XS. They retail for over $90. I wanted half chaps to wear in the summer - cooler!
Likes: These chaps are well made, and they look great with my Ariat boots. They are also easy to get on and off. They have elastic on the calf for a better fit. The elastic is holing up well.
Dislikes: I have had them over a year, and I only have one complaint. Most of the chap is made with smooth leather except a large patch on the inside, which is suede. The suede became very slick after a few rides. I noticed my leg slips more often with these half chaps then when I am wearing my tall leather field boots (a pain to get on and off). I guess it is just a trade off.
Quality: Great quality! They are holding up very well. Nice padding on the inside leg- Keeps the leathers from rubbing!
Summary: I am looking into a more casual tall boot that will have a better grip. Otherwise, these are the best half chaps money can buy.
