Purchase: I purchased these boots through the State line Tack website because I needed a comfortable boot that could take the wear and tear from riding and reduce foot fatigue. Plus, the website had my size, 11, which they do not carry in retail stores. I paid $79.95.
Likes: I like that this boot is casual, comfortable like tennis shoes, but yet you can ride in them and have a heel for the stirrups. They reduce foot fatigue when in the rising trot for a long period of time and hug my feet. They fit in english irons perfectly!
Dislikes: I don't like that I have to lace/unlace them every time I put them on/take them off.
Quality: VERY sturdy. Tennis shoe-like material with hard rubber sole. Must be conditioned like leather to keep suppleness. Will get cracked/dry if not conditioned.
Summary: I would buy another pair if/when I need another pair of riding boots. Ariat lasts quite a long time, so I will not be needing any soon.
