Purchase: I purchased this through a good friend of mine who is a Rocking R dealer (Triple H Tack, www.saddleking.com) and received a discount. I am unsure of their retail price, but have seen the saddle in another retail catalog for $825.
Likes: I love everything about this saddle! It is extremely comfortable, has a secure seat & tons of D rings for attaching training gear. The Montana Silversmiths concho's really dress it up. The stirrups are very adjustable...I would guess they would fit someone between 5'0 and 6'3 easily. I am 5'4 and most saddles are just a tad too long for me. My training saddle fits perfect and can go 4 holes shorter than where I need it. Every part of this saddle felt broke in from the first ride - with the exception of the fenders of course..those are always stiff on new saddles :) The comfort and security are my favorite features of this saddle.
Dislikes: I have no complaints, other than that I wish I had a Rocking R show saddle to go with my trainer!
Quality: Very high quality construction. There is nothing to complain about with this saddles build. It features an equi-flex tree that fits a wide range of horses and riders very comfortably. The leather is excellent, even stitching, hand dyed edges. Conchos are REAL Montana Silver. It is absolutely beautiful all the way around.
Summary: I highly recommend this saddle to anyone looking for a great saddle. It is reasonably priced, super comfy, looks great and fits the horse great. I am so happy with my training saddle that I am saving up for a Rocking R show saddle.
