Purchase: I bought this helmet from State Line for $65 because I needed a show helmet and was looking for one that wouldn't break the bank.
Likes: This a typical "bucket" style english helmet. It does have good ventilation. I really like have the box that it comes with. It keeps the helmet clean and out of the way.
Dislikes: The dial fit thing is really annoying. It digs into the back of my neck so I can't look up. I main concern about this helmet is safety. I was in the warm up ring at a show, cantering along. An oncoming horse came a little too close to me and the Morgan mare I'm leasing. My mare put on the brakes and stopped while I kept going. Apparently I did a pretty little flip and landed on my back with me head cracking against the ground. I was fine but I had a headache the next day. The shouldn't happen and I don't trust this helmet anymore.
Quality: The construction is overall good. No major faults there.
Summary: You get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and get a GOOD helmet. This one may not break the bank but it may break your head.
