Purchase: I bought this coat from Amira Equi and paid about $200 for it plus $20 for custom velvet and piping. I was an excellent deal because I could only find Pikeur dressage coats here in the US, not any jumping coats. Even then the dressage coats were $450. On Amira Equi's website they are less than half and can be customized.
Likes: I love the flattering fir of this coats as well as the fabric options I was able to choose from. I picked a wool coat with 2% elastane for stretch.
Dislikes: There is absolutely nothing I don't like except maybe that it has to be dry cleaned. Although you can buy a machine washable one to save $50, I wouldn't recommend it because they look cheaper and cannot be customized.
Quality: Wonderful cut and fit. Couldn't find a better made coat, even at a higher price. This is the coat that most top show jumpers wear. Yes, it has four buttons, it is the european style.
Summary: This s the best coat you can buy. It is also available in popular hunter colors for the same price and quality as a Grand Prix Coat.
