Purchase: I bought this pad for $20 at a used tack sale. It was a great deal and was barely used.
Likes: It can be hosed off and doesn't collect any dirt or horsehair. I could use it right on my horses back without causing rubs or discomfort. It was completely breathable (the sweat would go right through it).
Dislikes: I don't like how they cost $200 new in stores. Even still I would pay $200 for this pad because it absorbs a lot of shock from your weight in the saddle. You can find these used on ebay for around $90.
Quality: Great quality, these will last forever. I have had mine for 3 years and the only wear I can see is that the brand label is peeling. Other than that I could clean it and it would look like I just bought it yesterday.
Summary: I would really recommend this pad, especially for heavy riders because it cushions the weight applied to your horses back. I have seen an actual improvement in my horses attitude. But I suggest buying one off of eBay instead of paying $200.
