Purchase: I bought this rug from www.tackoftheday.com on sale for $180, I saved around $40.
Likes: I really love this rug because I can give my horse a bath in the winter and it will wick away the moisture and keep him dry.
Dislikes: There is nothing that I don't like about these blankets, except maybe the price. There is an off brand called Thermalux, which is supposed to be very nice.
Quality: They are very well made and have a warranty. They are made with tons of stitches so that the filling will never shift.
Summary: Overall these are a great cheaper, everyday alternative to Newmarket wool rugs. You can get an even cheaper off brand thermalux one as well. Thermatex also makes neck rugs which is really nice because I haven't been able to find a newmarket rug that goes all the way up the neck. I would highly recommend these blankets and every single person at the barn I board at has one.
