Purchase: I recieved these brushes as a Christmas present.
Likes: I love the way the Oster brushes look. They are comfortable, have nice bristles, and hold up really well. The hard brush actually has stiff, longer bristles; the soft brush has short, smooth, soft bristles; and the mane & tail brush has large spaces between bristles and rounded tips to pull out as little hair as possible.
Dislikes: There is really nothing I can think of that I really don't like. The only thing is that the rubber-like backs of the brushes get scratched fairly easily.
Quality: These brushes are well-constructed with care taken toward designing a comfortable and easy-to-use brush. The brushes are good quality as well.
Summary: I really love these brushes. I use them on my horse and the other horses I hack, and they work great. The rest of the barn people often steal my brushes to use!
