Purchase: I purchased this bit from the gaits of gold website. I bought it because of the results I had with my horse. I paid 65.00 shipping was extra.
Likes: I have tried several bits on my horse that is a tennesee walker, foxtrotter cross with no success. He does have a fairly smooth gait but could not seem to stay in it. I would also like to mention he can be high strung at times as he was an abused horse when I got him 5 years ago. I was riding with four of my friends one of them had just bought the Brenda Imus comfort bit we traded bridles and were shocked to see my horse drop his head soften his eyes and get a nice head shake and gait so freely and natural what a smooth ride. Who would of thought a bit could make a instant change. We have tried it on seven horses five out of seven have showed improvement. Needless to say we love it.
Dislikes: It sticks out some on both the sides of the horses mouth.
Quality: The quality and construction are great. The look is very nice. Lots of freedom for the horse.
Summary: I can not say this bit will fix every horse. But I have seen it work on several and make a big difference. It is worth a try before you invest money in expensive shoeing, or training.
