Purchase: I bought my ShowSheen from Mounds for $10.90 (I purchased the quart spray).
Likes: I love this product so much! It has so many uses and amazing results. At my barn, we use ShowSheen to detangle manes and tails, help remove burrs, shine up the coat, and many other uses. ShowSheen is great for a showday; spray some on over the whole body and it produces a glorious, healthy-looking sheen to the coat, and makes the hair soft and dust-resistant as well! I use mine even when we're not at a show. I also love that it produces the shine it does without being oily or greasy.
Dislikes: There isn't anything I dislike about ShowSheen. The only caution I can give you is to not spray it around the saddle area or in the mane/tail if they are to be braided, as it is slippery and makes the saddle slide around, and it is difficult to braid slippery hair.
Quality: The ShowSheen itself works very well, and is non-greasy or oily. The sprayer bottle it comes in is easy-to-use and fairly durable.
Summary: I love this product; ShowSheen works wonders! It is already a 'classic' in the horse show world, and it deserves it. ShowSheen really produces a wonderful, healthy shine among the many other uses.
